Bex Ridgen is In2Hula’s newest instructor. She is also a REPs registered personal trainer with a sparkling personality and an overcomer’s attitude. We asked Bex a few questions to help you get to know her:
If you could describe yourself in three words what would they be?
Fluorescent, outgoing, caring
What made you decide to start hooping?
I love the idea of doing exercise which is fun and NEVER boring!
What is your favourite hoop move/trick?
The Twirly Whirly – it just looks cool!
As well as taking In2Hula HoopFitness classes you run your own business as a personal trainer. What do you see as being the benefits of having a personal trainer?
A personal trainer is a great way to have someone to help keep you accountable and motivated, as well as giving guidance on exercises and lifestyle choices.
You have a love for the outdoors. What are some of your favourite outdoor activities?
I love rock climbing and taking my dog out hiking in the bush.
What is the riskiest thing you have ever done?
Rock climbing over 200m in Australia.
What are you most proud of in your life right now?
Health, husband, dog and house
What do you love to do best on a Sunday afternoon?
Spending time chilling with family, or sitting on my beanbag in the sunshine with a good book.
