Learn to hula hoop in our fun, interactive and easy to follow classes. We’ll get you hooping in no time at all!
What we want for our students is for them to enjoy themselves, and to accept that while some moves may seem hard, everything is achievable with practice. We all hoop at different levels. It may take some a little longer to master the hoop tricks than others, but that is perfectly okay.
Current In2Hula Hoop Classes:
In our HoopFitness classes you will learn a variety of basic hula hooping skills and use them in low impact fitness based activities such as circuits and flow sessions. All activity in these classes is done to music which helps create a relaxed, fun energy. These classes will stimulate your brain and your body, and build your confidence as you learn new skills.
HoopBlast classes provide a fast-paced, aerobic workout with a hula hoop. You will need to be able to confidently perform basic hula hoop moves such as waist hooping, weave and lasso to be able to fully participate in these classes. These classes are for people looking for a high intensity workout with a difference.
HoopFitness for Kids
In our hula hoop fitness classes for children, participants learn one new skill each week, and have fun being active playing hula hoop based games. Skills are learnt in levels and all the 8 skills in a level are learned over a school term. Participants can then take part in a group assessment and receive a certificate if they can perform all the skills in a given level. These classes develop children’s motor skills, brain connection pathways and confidence as they learn new skills. Opportunities are provided for children to encourage one another and take leadership roles, and all activities are performed to a soundtrack of positive, child appropriate music.
