Pictured above is Inspirational Hooper Kirsty White and her beautiful daughter Kiahna.
On Sunday 9 July, personal trainer Lisa Cooper and her Realfit crew braved the elements and took hooping to new heights in the name of the In2Hula CatchFitness 20 Week Hoop Challenge.
The morning dawned cold and misty, but that didn’t stop the Realfit crew with some of their children in tow (or in backpack) heading up Mount Cass. Not only did they all undertake the two and a half hour walk in very cold and slippery conditions, but most of the members went one step further and took their hula hoops with them.
Kirsty White (who backpacked her wee girl up the mountain) Lisa Cooper, Emma McLeod and Jenny Harris are all also doing the In2Hula 10:30 Challenge of hooping for 10 minutes every day from 1-30 July.
The crew carried their hoops to the top of the mountain then hooped for a while while singing the “Hoop Guy” song shown recently on Britain’s Got Talent. They would have hooped for longer if it hadn’t been so cold. “It was so cool doing a new walk with the team and hula hooping in in a new place” commented Kirsty White, adding that it was ‘a great walk ticked off the list with an awesome bunch of ladies.’
Well done all of you, you are truly Inspirational Hoopers!
